OECD International Conferences on Financial Education

The OECD brings together governments from countries committed to democracy and market economy in order to:

  • support sustainable economic growth
  • boost employment
  • raise living standards
  • maintain financial stability
  • assist other countries' economic development
  • contribute to growth in world trade.

A key component of this structure is the bi-annual joint OECD conference on financial education, held in different countries around the world.

The Retirement Commissioner is on the Advisory Board, Subgroup on Schools’ Education, and Chair of the Subgroup on Evaluation, International Network on Financial Education, at the OECD.
