This page is for people living in retirement villages, their families and advisers. It outlines the new protections all village residents have under the Retirement Villages Act, which came fully into effect from 1 May 2007.
Under the Act you are a resident if you've signed an occupation right agreement with the village operator, or there's an agreement entitling you to live in the village.
